What is Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)?
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an emotional, needle free version of acupuncture that is based on the discoveries regarding the connection between your body’s subtle energies, your emotions, and your health.
EFT has been reported successful in thousands of cases covering a huge range of emotional, health and performance issues. It often works where nothing else will.
Energy meridians that run through our body can be blocked or disrupted by unresolved emotional issues, thereby compromising our natural healing potential.
Quite often, people are aware of the events or memories that trigger emotional discomfort in their lives, but they have not yet connected those memories to the symptoms of disease in their bodies.
Using EFT, it is possible to revisit the event(s) in question, and balance the disturbed meridians. Properly done, both emotional anguish and the physical symptoms often subside. Although based on acupuncture, Emotional Freedom Techniques has simplified the realignment process by gently tapping on key meridian points on the head, torso and hands. Traditional acupuncture needles are not necessary in this process.
What an Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Session Entails.
The session begins by discussing what challenges need to be addressed. Once this has been established, some time is spent in a little detective work or rather moving through memories in order to find the roots of the issue. When we have found what we believe to be the earliest memory of the trauma/issue/ phobia we rate it’s intensity (from 0 to 10) then begin with the ‘tapping’. Once the intensity has been reduced to zero we then work on positive programming to help you in moving forward.
